This innovative comment automation system enables followers to buy from your reels just by commenting on them.

First go to your Pop shop live mobile admin screen
Then click on the ‘Create CommentChat’ button
- This article assumes you already have CommentChat configured
Start with selecting the DM link destination. This is where you will be sending your followers when they comment on your post/reel
Pick Product for this example. You will see all the products that are listed on your Popshoplive storefront
For this example lets pick the first product
Next we need to select the Instagram account where you would be posting the CommentChat connected Reel/Post
You should see all the Instagram accounts that you had connected during setup
- Pick the account on which you are going to post
You will see that ‘Next Post’ is selected by default. This is to allow you to set up the Comment Integration in advance so you can catch the comments immediately as the post/reel goes in
Next step is to pick your trigger word. If people comment using this ‘trigger word’, CommentChat will intercept and auto respond both publicly on the thread as well as send them a DM with the link to your product.
Next you need to define the automated ‘public comment responses’. You can define up to 10 responses here and CommentChat will randomly pick one to respond to all comments containing the trigger word
Next you need to draft your ‘DM’ or direct message. You can customize the message, the image and the CTA button. Be thoughtful, the contents of the message have a big impact on conversion rates.
- You will see a preview of the DM right below as soon as you draft it
Click on ‘Save and Activate’. Thats it, you are all set to drive purchases from your next Instagram post or reel.
